EU referendum: Rees-Mogg on Osborne emergency budget

Jacob Rees-Mogg says George Osborne should read European treaties more carefully, and claimed he was saying "very silly" things as a result of his "Europhilia".

The Conservative backbencher accused the chancellor of a "hysterical suggestion of an emergency budget".

Speaking to Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn, he said: "The chancellor needs to calm down and, regrettably, stop talking nonsense.”
