Jeremy Corbyn warning over Labour split
Jeremy Corbyn has warned rebel MPs they will do enormous damage to the Labour Party if they force a split.
He was responding to reports in the Daily Telegraph that dissenting MPs are preparing to elect their own leader and launch a legal challenge for the party's name and assets if Owen Smith fails to win the battle for the top job.
Speaking to BBC News while campaigning in Hull, Mr Corbyn urged his challenger Owen Smith to condemn any attempt to split the party.
