McDonnell to Labour: Don't appeal ruling
Shadow chancellor John McDonnell has called on the Labour Party's governing body, the NEC, to accept a decision on who can vote in the leadership election.
The High Court found that Labour members who were not entitled to vote in the party's leadership contest should be allowed to take part.
Mr McDonnell urged Jeremy Corbyn's rival in the contest, Owen Smith, to oppose an appeal against the ruling and "allow democracy to take its course".
But Mr Smith said it would not be right for either camp to "interfere" in the process.
