Priti Patel on whether MPs should vote on Brexit negotiation stance

The BBC's Andrew Marr asks Secretary of State for International Development Priti Patel whether MPs should be able to debate the government's Brexit negotiation stance before Article 50 is triggered.

He posed the question after former Liberal Democrat leader and Remain campaigner Nick Clegg said having a "sensible and coherent plan" in place before beginning official talks would actually "strengthen" Theresa May's hand.

She insists the government will deliver the will of the British people.
