PMQs: May asked if a Lord Farage on the cards?

Prime Minister Theresa May was asked by SNP MP George Kerevan to confirm or deny whether there have been "any official conversations at any level regarding giving Nigel Farage a peerage".

Mrs May, speaking at Prime Minister's Questions, said: "Such matters, normally, are never discussed in public."

Mr Farage is the current interim leader, and was previously the long-term leader, of UKIP. He has been in the news this week offering to help UK-US relations given his close contacts with US president-elect Donald Trump.
