Treasury Chair on the resignation of Bank of England's deputy

Charlotte Hogg has resigned as the new deputy governor of the Bank of England after a report from MPs found she had misled them about her brother's position at Barclays.

Andrew Tyrie, who chairs the Treasury Committee told BBC Radio 4's The World at One that "this is a regrettable business with no winners". He also welcomed the reforms the Governor of the Bank has made in terms of the way the bank is now run.
