We saw best and worst of humanity, May tells Commons

Addressing MPs after the attack on Westminster, Theresa May said: "We saw the worst of humanity but we will remember the best."

She paid tribute to Foreign Office Minister Tobias Ellwood who administered first aid to PC Keith Palmer, who died in the attack.

The prime minister added that the best response to terrorism lay in "millions of acts of normality" by people getting on with their lives as usual.
