Brexit: Michael Gove on UK-EU trade talks and deal

Michael Gove says the UK government "will do everything we can to secure a good free trade agreement " with the EU.

The cabinet minister told Tory MP Dehenna Davidson that her voters wanted to leave the EU, and "we will" by 31 December.

The UK left the EU in January, but agreed to a transition period and observes its rules until the end of this year.
