Tory MP Douglas Ross clashes with the SNP's Pete Wishart at committee hearing

An SNP committee chairman tells a Tory MP his personal attacks are “absolutely pathetic”.

Pete Wishart was responding to criticism from Scottish Tory leader Douglas Ross, who told him: "When you are so poor at your job I will personally attack you."

Mr Wishart said there was no need for personal attacks, and the Scottish Tory leader should get on with asking his question “without making any sort of erroneous attacks on the chair”.
