Nandy on UK action over helping Afghanistan 'disaster'

Labour is calling for a potential recall of Parliament over the “disaster” in Afghanistan.

Lisa Nandy said it was a “humanitarian crisis unfolding in front of our eyes” and she called on the PM and foreign secretary to “step up and start to show they have a strategy”.

The shadow foreign secretary added: “It does not have to be this way”
