'No 10 celebrated while thousands died'
A representative of the Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice group, whose father died of the virus last Christmas, has said reports of a Downing Street party, which took place at the same time, are "really upsetting" and "really insulting".
The party took place on 18 December at a time when Covid restrictions banned such events.
Safiah Ngah's father caught Covid over the Christmas period and later died. She told the BBC: "We know how bad the numbers were at that stage and thousands of people were dying every day, and meanwhile people in Downing Street are celebrating."
Downing Street says all Covid guidelines were followed.
