SDLP Westminster leader says the PM should resign

Boris Johnson should resign, Colum Eastwood has told MPs.

The SDLP Westminster leader said the prime minister had "eroded public confidence at the worst possible time", but Mr Johnson said he would "get on with protecting the public of this country".
