Ukraine war: Boris Johnson says Putin invasion has failed
Russia's president "did not understand what he would encounter" ahead of his invasion of Ukraine, the UK PM has said.
Boris Johnson told the BBC's Laura Kuenssberg Vladimir Putin had not realised the strength of the Ukrainian resistance.
He said Putin would not be able to "crush and conquer" Ukraine, or succeed, and the Russians should "close this thing down".
