Immigration makes enormous contribution to UK, says Tory MP

Conservative MP Simon Hoare has called on his colleagues to recognise the "enormous contribution" immigration has made to the UK.

He said politicians should not just see immigration "always through those prisms of prohibition, [that] it is bad and it is something to be controlled and it is something to be stopped".
