Tory leadership: Liz Truss on 'cancelling' public sector pay policy
Liz Truss has said she “cancelled” her public sector pay policy to make sure doctors and teachers "weren’t worried”.
The Tory leadership contender called herself "decisive" and "honest" with the public about what she was doing.
Ms Truss had proposed regional pay boards, but later withdrew the policy, and since said it had been "misrepresented".
