Energy crisis: £2,500 price cap for typical households - Truss
Prime Minister Liz Truss has announced that the typical household energy bill will be capped at £2,500.
The highly anticipated announcement comes as household's gas and electricity bills had been due to rise from £1,971 to £3,549 in October.
How Ms Truss' government responds to the energy crisis had been a key part of her leadership campaign.
