Barclay: NHS pay offer in England higher than in Wales

Health Secretary Steve Barclay has said he wants to "sit down" with junior doctors to resolve a dispute over pay and patient safety.

Mr Barclay was responding to Labour calling for the Acas arbitration service to mediate over strikes by NHS staff in England.

He compared the pay offer from the Conservative government in Westminster to that made by the Labour-run Welsh government.
