Sunak on Israel-Gaza war: Too many civilians are dying
The PM said a Conservative MP was putting words in his mouth over his reply on the deaths in the Middle East.
Rishi Sunak told Alicia Kearns that "too many civilians" were dying in the Israel-Gaza war.
On Monday, Mrs Kearns, who chairs the Commons Foreign Affairs committee, said Israel had "gone beyond self-defence" and lost the moral authority in its war with Hamas, and questioned the PM on the conflict in Parliament 24 hours later.
