Starmer: ‘Lot of unanswered questions’ on Menzies claims
The Labour leader has asked why the Conservative Party "took so long to act" on allegations about an MP.
Sir Keir Starmer said the police should be involved in the claims made about Mark Menzies, when the party was first made aware of them in December.
Mr Menzies "strongly" disputed the claims, but has had the whip removed by the Conservative party amid allegations that he misused party funds and abused his position.
