Angela Rayner: Starmer welcomes police investigation outcome
Labour leader Keir Starmer has welcomed the news that his deputy Angela Rayner will face no police action in the row over her council house sale.
Greater Manchester Police has said the decision was taken after "thorough" investigation.
The row concerned whether Ms Rayner paid correct tax on the house sale, and if she was registered to vote at the right address.
Last month, Ms Rayner said she would step down if she was found to have committed a criminal offence.
