EU referendum: Cameron urges Boris Johnson to back Remain campaign

David Cameron has urged Boris Johnson to back the campaign to remain in the EU.

The London mayor is expected to announce he will campaign for an EU exit but is understood to have told friends he is genuinely conflicted about which way to campaign in the referendum.

Mr Cameron told The Andrew Marr Show that he believed the UK would be "better off inside the EU".
