Boris: Staying in EU 'like being locked in a minicab'

Boris Johnson has been making the case for Britain to make an exit from the European Union.

In a speech in Manchester, the London Mayor said he didn't want to see the UK fall victim to the "one-way ratchet" of EU control and described staying in the EU as being "locked in the back of a minicab driven by someone with a wonky satnav".
