EU referendum: Gove rejects trade 'punishment' claims

Justice Secretary Michael Gove has rejected claims the UK will be "punished" with tariffs if voters choose to leave the EU's single market.

Pro-EU campaigners, including the Chancellor George Osborne, say a vote to leave would damage the economy.

However, Mr Gove told the BBC's Andrew Marr Show he could "not imagine" Germany or France putting up trade barriers which would threaten their own imports into the UK.
