Army steps in to assist snowed in Scottish ambulances

Freezing temperatures and more snow have meant another day of road chaos and school closures in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Yorkshire.

Hundreds of cars were stranded for a second night on a stretch of motorway in central Scotland.

With sub zero temperatures continuing, the Army may now be used to clear the streets in Edinburgh.
