Life-sized T-rex rebuilt in National Museum of Scotland
Staff at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh have spent six months installing nearly 8,000 objects into 16 new galleries.
About 80% of the collection has not previously been seen and the new look follows three years of major building work.
The life-sized skeleton cast of the Tyrannosaurus rex is 12m (39ft) long. The cast has been taken from one of the most complete T-rex specimens in the world which is held in the Museum of the Rockies in the United States.
