BAE hull begins move from Govan to Rosyth

The task of moving an 8,000 tonne section of an aircraft carrier 600 miles round the north coast of Scotland has begun.

The first section of the hull from the carrier was rolled out of the BAE Systems shipyard in Govan.

The hull will be loaded onto a barge over the weekend, before making the journey to Rosyth where it will be assembled.
