Gannet Alpha oil spill 'threatens' sea birds

Conservationists have said an oil leak near a North Sea platform poses a threat to seabirds.

More than 100 tonnes of oil has leaked from the flow pipe connected to the Gannet Alpha platform.

Shell UK has said it is an insignificant amount but the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds disagrees.
