F1 team gives teen a bionic hand

A 14-year-old boy has been given a helping hand through a unique collaboration between a Livingston electronics firm and a Formula One racing team.

Matthew James, from Berkshire, was born without a left hand.

After appealing for sponsorship from the Mercedes F1 team, he has been given the most advanced artificial hand in the world, designed in West Lothian.
