Argyll red phone box 'life-saver'

Red telephone boxes used to be a regular sight on our streets but now that most of us have mobile phones they are barely used.

Traditional red phone boxes have been getting new leases of life for everything from information centres to pubs.

One in an Argyll village could even save a life as the phone box has been fitted with a defibrillator.

A local girl guide came up with the idea in a competition run by the community council.
