Tale of Dyce Camp's WWI objectors

New light has been shed on a hidden part of Scotland's World War I history.

"Dyce Camp" in Aberdeen housed hundreds of men who refused to fight for their country in the trenches.

The location is thought to be the first labour camp in the UK for conscientious objectors.

Chris Hicks, the nephew of one of the men forced to work in the granite quarry and who had originally been sentenced to death, has spoken to BBC Reporting Scotland.
