Robert Burns' Tam O'Shanter depicted on 20m mural

A new mural depicting Robert Burns' tale of Tam O'Shanter has been unveiled in Ayrshire.

The 20m (68ft) long and 2m (7ft) high artwork is called "Drouthie Cronies".

Created by Edinburgh-based artist Chris Rutterford, the work captures the essence of the Bard's iconic poem.

The mural is on display in the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum and is to move to a pub in Glasgow.
