A Christmas Carol with a puppet twist will open in Glasgow

The National Theatre of Scotland has announced it will stage its first ever Christmas show based on Scrooge and his nightmarish visions.

Actors have had to learn the art of puppeteering since most of the cast are life sized puppets.

They have warned the public their sinister tale is not for small children or the faint hearted.

'A Christmas Carol' will be performed in Glasgow.
