Pioneering treatment could restore sight
A woman from Edinburgh who is nearly blind has undergone a pioneering stem cell treatment which could restore her sight.
Sylvia Paton is the first person in the UK to take part in a clinical trial of the technique which could be used to help thousands of other people who suffer from a particular kind of blindness.
The technique has been developed by Scottish specialists to reverse corneal blindness.
BBC Scotland's health correspondent Eleanor Bradford reports.
