Nicola Benedetti performs with young Scots musicians

A year ago the future of Scotland's National Youth Orchestras was put in doubt after a cut in funding.

The young musicians are now taking to the stage with renewed confidence.

They have two performances in Scotland and will appear at the BBC Proms at the weekend.

Violin virtuoso Nicola Benedetti joined them for the final rehearsal before the concert at Perth Concert Hall.
