Fans of American rock legend Alice Cooper are in mourning after the death of Dali the snake.
The eight-foot long boa constrictor regularly appeared on stage and graced the cover of Cooper's latest album.
Dali was owned by Bill Crowe from East Lothian. Mr Crowe has been supplying snakes to Cooper for many years.
He said: "Dali had quite a life".
