Making a 3D image from a single pixel in Glasgow

Researchers at Glasgow University have developed a new way to create 3D images using single pixel light sensors.

The method is being seen as a cheaper alternative to digital cameras and their millions of pixels used in conventional 3D imagery.

Four single pixel light sensors gauge how light falls on an object, enabling a 3D image to be produced.
