Preview of Sir Walter Scott's spruced-up Abbotsford home

The Borders home of Sir Walter Scott re-opens to the public this summer after a £12m renovation and refurbishment.

The writer was also a prolific collector. Visitors will be able to see many of the priceless objects and books he gathered over the years.
