Scottish independence: Pensions expert David Davison answers your questions
Pensions expert David Davison has been answering questions surrounding pension provision in an independent Scotland.
During the latest in a series of BBC Scotland webcast interviews ahead of the 2014 independence referendum, Mr Davison, director and owner of the actuarial firm Spence & Partners, external, said the challenge would be the transition of schemes from one administration to another, in the event of a "Yes" vote.
A paper by professional chartered accountants body ICAS, external, to which Mr Davison was a contributor, raised a number of questions in relation to the issue and urged both the Scottish and UK governments to look at the matter carefully.
