High caffeine energy drink warning

There are calls for tighter controls to prevent children consuming high caffeine energy drinks.

The organisation that represents manufacturers has told a BBC Scotland investigation children should not be drinking them.

Research for the European Food Safety Agency suggests more than two-thirds of the UK's 10 to 18 year olds have consumed high-caffeine energy drinks.

A leading academic has said it is time to do more to stop it happening. BBC Scotland's science correspondent Kenneth Macdonald reports.
