Scot to take on world's best chocolatiers in Paris
A chocolatier from Peebles will represent the UK at the World Chocolate Masters in Paris next month.
Ruth Hinks is the first female finalist in the competition and will face a gruelling two-day challenge.
She told BBC Scotland's Cameron Buttle about her battle to become the best chocolatier.
"We have three hours to put a showpiece together which stands between one and two metres tall," she said.
"On day two, we have two gateaux, eight plated desserts, 50 moulded chocolates, 50 dipped chocolates and we have to decorate a globe in chocolate. We have eight hours to do that."
