Scottish independence: Darling: 'Economy will decide'
Alistair Darling, the leader of the Better Together campaign, says financially it makes more sense for Scotland to remain part of the United Kingdom.
His remarks come as the Scottish Parliament is set to debate Scotland's future - one year before voters are to decide in a referendum whether it should become an independent country.
Mr Darling told BBC News correspondent Allan Little: "The economy will decide people's minds".
'Yes' campaigners have insisted Scotland is economically strong enough to go it alone.
