Switching on the lights at The Hydro arena in Glasgow

The lights have been switched on at Glasgow's new multi-million pound venue The Hydro.

Workers have been putting the finishing touches to arena, which has been built alongside the SECC complex.

Rod Stewart will play the first concert in the building on 30 September.
