Glasgow helicopter crash: Reports suggest tail rotor issue

Witness reports on Friday night's helicopter crash in Glasgow would "tend to indicate a problem with the tail rotor", an aviation expert has suggested.

David Gleave from Aviation Safety Investigations told the BBC the type of helicopter - the Eurocopter EC135 T2 - was "built for a tough task and it performs it very well."

He said the initial investigation into the incident would examine the possibility of gearbox, engine or rotor failure.
