Family plea after Ahmadi religious arrest in Pakistan

The family of a British man arrested in Pakistan for "posing as a Muslim", say they want the UK government to help bring him back to Scotland.

Masood Ahmad is part of the minority Ahmadi sect who are considered heretics in the country.

The 72-year-old was jailed on blasphemy charges in November 2013 after being secretly filmed reading verses from the Quran.

Ahmadis can face up to three years in prison for this and other "offences".

Athar Ahmad reports from Glasgow.
