Donald Trump's bid to stop Aberdeen Bay wind farm fails

The Court of Session has rejected a bid by Donald Trump to stop a wind farm being built in Aberdeen Bay.

The tycoon had claimed the £230m wind farm development would spoil the view from his new hotel and golf complex on the Menie estate.

Lawyers for his firm went to the Court of Session in November 2013 seeking a judicial review of the decision not to hold a public inquiry into the wind farm proposals and ministers' decision to grant planning permission for the project without holding a public inquiry.

The Trump Organisation has said it will review the decision.
