Glasgow School of Art funding help for students
Glasgow School of Art has announced that it will create special bursaries to help students who lost work in a fire. The scheme aims to give students studio time to develop and make new work.
The Scottish government has also announced that it will match the Mackintosh fire fund with up to £5m of funding.
Much of the Charles Rennie Mackintosh-designed building was destroyed when a fire, thought to have started in the basement, took hold on Friday.
Some final year students at the school are still waiting to hear whether their final year projects survived the blaze.
BBC Scotland's Catriona Renton reports.
