Three dead after collisions at Scottish Borders car rally

Three people have been killed and six injured after cars collided with spectators in two separate incidents at the Jim Clark Rally in the Scottish Borders.

The second and most serious incident took place at about 16:00 BST on Saturday when a car taking part in the motor racing event came off the road at Little Swinton, near Coldstream.

Police Scotland said the event had been cancelled with immediate effect. Laura Bicker reports.
