Elaine Doyle murder: Brother says 'a just verdict'

Elaine Doyle was murdered in 1986 as she made her way home after a night out in Greenock.

John Docherty, who said he knew "nothing" of the killing, has been found guilty by majority verdict of her murder.

Speaking outside court Elaine's brother, John Doyle, said he was happy with the outcome describing it as "a just verdict".

Docherty will be sentenced in August.
