Scottish students' verdict on National 4 and 5 exam results

Thousands of school pupils across Scotland have been receiving their exam results.

They include the first students to study for the new National 4s and 5s, the qualifications that have replaced Standard Grades.

How have the new exams fared? One student said: "The whole summer I've been worrying about what I got, going over the exams in my head and now I've got the results I'm really pleased with how it turned out".

BBC Scotland's education correspondent Jamie McIvor reports from Dumbarton Academy.
