Scottish independence: Campaign leaders stress vote will stand

The leaders of both sides in the Scottish independence referendum say the result will stand, as their campaigns enter their final week.

Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond has said the independence referendum is "a once in a generation opportunity", while Better Together's Alistair Darling said "there is no way back" from independence.

The latest opinion polls have suggested the vote is too close to call.
